This mouthwatering milkshake, perfect during hot weather, also features great benefits for your skin!
  1. Flax seeds fight skin irritation, tissue inflammation, and redness.
  2. Vitamin E-packed almonds help to cleanse and eliminate toxins from your body and skin.
  3. Bananas – being rich in Vitamins A, B and E – work as an anti-aging agent!
  • 1 medium to large frozen banana (break your bananas into one-inch chunks before freezing)
  • 1 heaping spoonful of almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 2 spoonfuls flax seed
  • ½ cup almond milk, yogurt or regular milk
  • drizzle of honey, agave nectar or maple syrup
  • tiny drop of almond extract (or vanilla extract, but the almond extract makes the smoothie taste almost like candy!)
  1. Toss all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Serves 2

A refreshing, healthy smoothie full of vitamins and nutrients for radiant, beautiful skin.



1 cup coconut water, chilled
1 cup fresh or frozen organic strawberries
1 cup organic baby carrots
1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
1 navel orange, peeled



  1. Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth
  2. Note: can add some ice to make it cold if using fresh strawberries
